All Native Group is seeking a Clinical Training Specialist - Level II to support the Defense Health Agency Information Technology Department at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. This position is onsite at Bethesda, MD. This position is contingent upon contract award
Essential Functions
- Assesses, designs, and conceptualizes health information technology training scenarios, approaches, objectives, plans, tools, aids, curriculums, and other state of the art technologies related to training and behavioral studies.
- Identifies the best approach training requirements to include, but not limited to hardware, software, simulations, course assessment and refreshment, assessment centers, oral examinations, interviews, computer assisted and adaptive testing, behavior-based assessment and performance, and team and unit assessment and measurement. Develops and revises health information technology training courses.
- Prepares training catalogs and course materials.
- Trains personnel by conducting formal classroom courses, workshops, and seminars.
- Application of common Health IT industry practices when supporting Clinical/Healthcare environments. Utilizes understanding of Health IT process and systems to produce Health IT training related deliverables.
- Complete orientation and competency verification programs in accordance with department guidelines.
- Complete all required training courses on or before the due date specified.
- When assigned, will serve, and participate in functions and other meetings. Provide relevant and timely information and assists with decision-making and process improvement.
- As required, participate in customer service initiatives and medical readiness activities, designed to enhance health services.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly working environment.
- Obtain, maintain access to DMHRSi program and complete bi-weekly DMHRSi workload documentation.
- Complete orientation and competency verification programs in accordance with department guidelines.
- When assigned, will serve, and participate in functions and other meetings. Provide relevant and timely information and assists with decision-making and process improvement.
- As required, participate in customer service initiatives and medical readiness activities, designed to enhance health services.

- Sign in and out with Time Tracker while on-site to record employee’s daily schedule.
- Complete all site required training within stated timelines.
- Create and provide daily or weekly work reports as required to management.
- Obtain, maintain access to DMHRSi program and complete bi-weekly DMHRSi workload documentation.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands

- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time.
- Occasionally moves about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
- Expresses or exchanges ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly or quickly.
- Frequently moves standard office equipment up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to work indoor conditions 90% of the time.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is full time position. Monday- Friday
Travel
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out of the area travel and overnight may be expected.
Experience
Four (4) years of progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency. Experience working with distance learning tools and presenting in a remote-work environment

Bachelor’s Degree
