All Native Group are seeking a Telecommunications Engineer to join our team in Washington, DC. You will support our customer with Circuit Provisioning functions and upgrades from the Avaya 880 to VOIP. This department manages all domestic Voice and Data Telecommunication Circuit Provisioning Order/Implementations Services. This position requires an individual to be customer focused, technically skilled, self-motivated, and can work with internal groups to ensure optimal service implementations.
Job Description:
- Manage and track Telecom Service Request (TSR) circuit order and disconnect requests. This includes reviewing and validating circuit order requests and specifications from Network Data and Voice Engineers, writing quote request, submitting orders to Telecom Carriers and tracking order status. Assist with all aspects of circuit order implementation.
Job Responsibilities
- Process all New circuit orders, MACDs and Disconnect circuit orders for Data and Voice services from various Telecom Carriers, such as Layer 2 Switched Ethernet, Layer 3 VPNS//MPLS Switched Ethernet, Internet(IPS) and SIP Trunks.
- Responsible for reviewing and approving all technical specifications for circuit order.
- Track order status and provide timely and accurate updates to customers.
- Work closely with Project Managers on large scale Enterprise deployments to meet customer’s unique requirements.
- Work closely with Data Network Engineers and Voice Engineers, reviewing engineering specifications.
- Utilize Telco Carrier’s online portals to process orders and obtain accurate and timely service order completion notices.
- Answer customer calls for queries regarding order status activities.
- Update internal systems with circuit and service detail information for all orders.
- Provide high quality customer service and timely product delivery.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all internal customer expectations and telco vendor escalations to complete each order within the standard intervals or better.
- Responsible for the lifecycle of all telco vendor circuit orders by acting as a liaison between internal customers and telco vendors. Detailed knowledge of Telco Carrier’s and internal order processes for all products and services to obtain accurate and timely service order completion notices.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands
The preponderance of the work is performed in an office-type setting, with adequate lighting, heating/cooling, ventilation, and protection from the elements.
The contractor must be physically able, with reasonable and realistic accommodation where appropriate, and agreeable to conduct on-site investigation of facilities, project sites and building systems in a variety of climates, site locations, and working conditions.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5p.m. Evening and weekend hours required, as required by business need.
Travel
80% CONUS travel to perform upgrades & installs
Experience
- A minimum of five (5) years’ relevant experience is required for this position
- Experience in provisioning Voice and Data Telecommunication Circuit Order/Implementations Services.
- Background in M-A-C (Move, Add and Change) day-to-day environment.
- Knowledge of Ethernet optical and electrical LAN and WAN hand-off types.
- Experience with use of data analysis to identify root causes to solve and mitigate issues.
- Ability to resolve complex issues.

- Proficiency with MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel.

Education
- Technical training in telecommunications and/or experience with provisioning telecom services.
- BS in Telecommunications or Business Administration is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits:
