Summary

Fire Creek Services Company, an All Native Group company, is seeking an EAM Solution Architect to serve as the technical authority for an IBM Maximo-based enterprise asset management (EAM) platform supporting facility maintenance operations. The Architect defines the target architecture, application design, asset and location data model, integration patterns and a hosting approach that meets Army security authorization requirements. This is an immediate opening.

 

Essential Functions

  • Produce and maintain the target architecture, data model (asset hierarchy, locations, failure codes and job plans) and interface control documents.
  • Design Maximo Manage and Maximo Mobile configuration for QR-code request intake, priority-based dispatch, mobile execution, inventory custody and financial reconciliation.
  • Select an Army-approved hosting and connectivity design with the System Engineer and Cybersecurity / RMF Lead.
  • Define data-export formats and data ownership boundaries, and design for portability to avoid vendor lock-in.
  • Review all configuration and integration changes and maintain the configuration register.
  • Support ATO evidence, including architecture, data-flow and boundary diagrams.
  • Design security into the platform with secure configuration baselines and least-privilege access.
  • Communicate architecture decisions, risks and planned changes clearly to stakeholders, including non-technical users and the Government customer.

Supervisory Responsibility

None required for this position; provides technical direction to the Maximo Functional Lead and Integration / API Engineer.

 

Work Environment

Remote or office-based, computer-focused work, with periodic on-site travel to Fort Campbell, Kentucky.

 

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lb.
  • Occasional walking of buildings and mechanical spaces during on-site visits.

 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Full-time and part-time positions available. Typical hours are Monday through Friday, daytime.

 

Travel

Periodic travel to Fort Campbell, Kentucky, for site surveys, pilots and system go-live support.

 

Experience

  • 10+ years of enterprise asset management experience.
  • 5+ years of IBM Maximo architecture experience (MAS 8/9 preferred).
  • Delivered at least two production Maximo implementations end to end.
  • Data modeling for facilities and real-property asset hierarchies.
  • Experience designing integrations to ERP and financial systems (SAP-based or similar).

Preferred:

  • Azure Government or DoD IL4/IL5 hosting patterns.
  • Army work-request and financial systems.
  • TOGAF certification.
  • ITIL Foundation certification.
  • Experience working on Department of Defense (DoD) installations, contracts or programs is a plus.

 

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.

 

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

  • IBM Maximo (MAS) certification preferred.
  • CompTIA Security+ required if granted privileged system access.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and obtain installation access.
