Summary

Fire Creek Services Company, an All Native Group company, is seeking a Facility / Asset Survey Technician (Term) to build an accurate asset baseline for barracks and housing facilities on the installation through site surveys, equipment nameplate data collection, QR location labeling and baseline condition data that feed the maintenance management system (Maximo). This is a term (temporary-duration) position and an immediate opening.

 

Essential Functions

  • Survey buildings and mechanical spaces, capturing asset nameplates, locations and condition on a tablet.
  • Place tamper-evident QR labels at approved room and common-area locations and maintain the location registry.
  • Validate facility and equipment lists provided by the Government customer and flag discrepancies.
  • Support the initial inventory effort and hand off clean data to the Maximo Functional Lead.
  • Follow safe work practices in mechanical spaces and on ladders, including PPE and lockout/tagout awareness.
  • Keep survey data organized and synced daily and resolve data gaps before leaving a building.
  • Treat residents and occupied living spaces with courtesy and respect.

Work Environment

Field-based work walking barracks and housing facilities on the installation, including mechanical rooms.

 

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Lifting up to 50 lb.
  • Climbing ladders and working in mechanical spaces.
  • Bending, kneeling and working in tight areas.
  • Exposure to outdoor weather, heat and cold.
  • Driving a service vehicle between buildings.

 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Full-time and part-time positions available. Typical hours are Monday through Friday, daytime. Shifts may require some evening or weekend work, and this position participates in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency escalations as duty lead.

 

Travel

Daily local travel between buildings on the installation.

 

Experience

  • 3+ years of facility condition assessment, asset inventory or CMMS data collection experience.

Preferred:

  • Tablet or app-based data capture.
  • Reading floor plans.
  • Barcode/QR tagging.
  • Building systems recognition.
  • Experience with facility condition index (FCI) or condition-rating methods.
  • Experience working on Department of Defense (DoD) installations, contracts or programs is a plus.

 

Education

High school diploma or GED required; technical or facilities background preferred.

 

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

  • OSHA 10 certification required.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and obtain installation access.
