Summary

Fire Creek Services Company, an All Native Group company, is seeking a Reliability / PM Technician to carry out the preventive maintenance program and condition-based repairs in barracks and housing facilities on the installation, so that unplanned breakdowns decrease over time. This is an immediate opening.

 

Essential Functions

  • Complete preventive maintenance routes by their due dates, flagging any missed safety-critical tasks rather than resetting due dates.
  • Investigate sensor and building automation alerts (water, temperature and humidity, current and vibration) and convert findings into planned work.
  • Maintain asset condition data and failure codes, and provide lifecycle recommendations to supervisors and the Data / BI Analyst.
  • Perform physical inspections of equipment where sensors are not installed.
  • Perform lubrication, filter changes, belt inspections and other routine preventive tasks to manufacturer specifications.
  • Use diagnostic tools such as thermal cameras, vibration meters and multimeters to assess equipment condition.
  • Follow safe work practices, including lockout/tagout (LOTO), PPE and ladder safety.

None required for this position

 

Work Environment

Field-based work in barracks and housing facilities, including roofs, attics, mechanical rooms and occupied residential rooms.

 

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Lifting up to 50 lb.
  • Climbing ladders.
  • Bending, kneeling and standing for extended periods.
  • Driving a service vehicle between buildings.

 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Full-time and part-time positions available. Typical hours are Monday through Friday, daytime. Shifts may require some evening or weekend work, and this position participates in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency escalations as duty lead.

 

Travel

Daily local travel between buildings on the installation.

 

Experience

  • 5+ years of preventive or predictive maintenance experience on building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical and building envelope).

Preferred:

  • Condition monitoring (vibration, current, temperature/humidity and water sensors).
  • Building automation system alarms.
  • CMMS preventive maintenance scheduling.
  • Experience with thermography or vibration analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) concepts.
  • Experience working on Department of Defense (DoD) installations, contracts or programs is a plus.

 

Education

High school diploma or GED plus completion of a technical program.

 

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

  • OSHA 10 certification required.
  • EPA 608 Type II certification preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and obtain installation access
